I think I've been outed by Dawna- this is, in fact, a picture of Janis Joplin. For those of you born in the 70's and 80's, she was a raunchy blues/rock singer who's star shone very brightly for a very short time. Her style is an aquired taste, but I recommend everyone who's ever had the blues give her a try.
